SAT Adaptive Exam:
SAT Adaptive test has two section as follows and a break section between the two
- Reading &Writing (RW)
- Math
- Each section consists of two modules (Module 1 and Module 2).
RW Module 1: RW:32 minutes and 27 questions
Math Module 1: Math:34 minutes and 22 questions (This is the only difference in the Math section)
RW Module 2:
- Based on the user's performance in Module 1, the difficulty level of questions in Module 2 changes.
- Three question pools exist in Module 2: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
- Each pool has 27questions.
Pool Selection Criteria for RW Module 2:
- Easy Pool: Awarded if the user scores less than 40% in Module 1. Questions are worth 1 mark each. No minimum requirement to enter this pool (0%).
- Medium Pool: Awarded if the user scores between 40% and 69% in Module 1. Questions are worth 2 marks each. Minimum requirement to enter this pool is 40% in Module 1.
- Hard Pool: Awarded if the user scores above 70% in Module 1. Questions are worth 3 marks each. Minimum requirement to enter this pool is 70% in Module 1.

MATH Section Module 2
- The Math section follows the same adaptive logic as the RW section. The difficulty of questions in Module 2 adjusts based on the user's performance in Module 1.
- Key Difference: Unlike the RW section, the Math Section’s Module 1 has a slightly longer duration (34minutes) and fewer questions (22).
