How to add Assignment to a course?- Admin View
Step 1: Start Assignment Setup
Go to any chapter in your course and click “Add Assignment” to begin creating a new assignment.
Step 2: Enter Assignment Details
Add the assignment title, set the start and end date/time, and provide detailed instructions
Step 3: Upload Relevant Files
Upload supporting documents under the correct category:
- All Users (e.g., question paper)
- Evaluators Only (e.g., Evaluation criteria)
- Students Before Assignment (e.g., sample questions)
- Students After Completion (e.g., Answer keys)
Step 4: Configure Submission Settings
Select the batches that should receive the assignment. Choose the submission type (file upload or online text) and define allowed file formats like PDF or images.
Step 5: Define Grading Criteria
Pick your preferred grading method—marks, letter grades, pass/fail, or marking guide.
Set the maximum marks if using numeric grading.
Step 6: Review and Publish steps
Check all details in the Assignment Overview. Click Next to confirm and create the assignment.
Step 7: Assign Evaluator and Reviewer
After the assignment is created, you can assign mentors as:
- Evaluator – Reviews submissions, assigns marks, and adds feedback
- Reviewer – Reviews the evaluator’s grading and publishes the final grade
Mentors will only see assignments assigned to them. Admins can view and manage all submissions across the platform.
Step 8: Evaluate Submissions
Once students submit, the evaluator can open each response and click. Evaluate to enter marks or feedbacks
Step 9 : Review and Publish Grades
Grades remain unpublished by default after evaluation.
The reviewer or admin can review the evaluation, make changes if needed, and then click “Publish Grade” to make the result visible to the student.
