How to convert Word documents to web pages and create a zip file


To convert Word documents (Questions, Explanations, and Hints) to web pages and create a zip file, follow these steps:

  • Open the Word document containing the content.
  • Go to "File" > "Save As" and select "Web Page Filtered (.htm)" as the file format.
  • Choose a location to save the web page file and click "Save."
  • Word will generate a web page file along with an associated folder containing images if the document contains any.
  • Once saved, navigate to the location where you saved the web page file and folder.
  • Select both the web page file (.htm) and the associated folder (Image folder).
  • Right-click on the selected files and choose "Send to" > "Compressed (zipped) folder" from the context menu.
  • A zip file containing the web page file and its associated folder will be created.
